Lawrence Arts Center - Ballet

Dr. Cipriano’s collaboration with the Lawrence Arts Center spans a decade. It began on the podium in 2016, conducting the ballet Peter and the Wolf, continued in the pit as a ballet accompanist, and since 2019 has included conducting the Arts Center’s beloved annual production of A Kansas Nutcracker, a Lawrence holiday tradition featuring live orchestra and dancers of all ages.

His ballet work also includes conducting Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker with the Overland Park Orchestra and the American Youth Ballet (2018–2019).
