Lawrence Opera Theatre

The Lawrence Opera Theatre (LOT) brings professional opera to Lawrence, Kansas, presenting fully staged productions, concerts, and educational programs that showcase regional and national artists.

Dr. Cipriano has been serving as Music Director of the Lawrence Opera Theatre for eight seasons. With LOT, he has led productions including Pagliacci and Gianni Schicchi, Don Giovanni, Carmen, Romeo and Juliet, Cinderella, and La Traviata, working with the company’s chamber orchestra, chorus, and guest artists, and coaching singers in the Italian and French repertoire.
