The Topeka Symphony Orchestra (TSO) is a cultural cornerstone in the Topeka community, delivering captivating performances that showcase the virtuosity of its musicians and the beauty of orchestral compositions. The Topeka Symphony Orchestra has been led by Music Director and Conductor Kyle Pickett since 2013. His dedication to musical excellence and his commitment to nurturing the orchestra’s sound have earned him widespread acclaim in the Topeka community and beyond.

Since 2020, Dr. Cipriano has served as assistant and cover conductor to Maestro Pickett, and he also oversees the live-streamed production of the TSO’s concerts. In 2022 he wrote an arrangement for flamenco ensemble and full orchestra for the season finale, enthusiastically received by performers and audience alike. In April 2024 he conducted the season’s final subscription concert, featuring scores from classic and contemporary Hollywood films.
