The ancient Greeks knew something uncomfortable about prophecy: the seer never tells you what you want to hear. He tells you what you need to hear. And then, and this is the truly uncomfortable part, you go and do the thing anyway. Watching Nolan's Odyssey felt exactly like consulting one of those seers.
